The Houston got the new name the Colt. 45s after a “Name The Team” that was a Contest which was held. The Astros had joined MLB along with the New York Mets.

The Manager of the team is Brad Mills and has seven coaches in the team. The colors of the team are brick red, black and sand. The team logos have been designed in various years. The Astros won their National League division Series against the Atlanta Braves in four games.

The latest of the Houston Astro’s season 2010 is the 49th season for the franchise in the National League and 111th season at minute maid park. For the 5th time they are attempting to win the NL Central and for the 2nd time in National League Series.
